Tiny Setup Lab earns a commission when readers buy through some of the product links on this site. Here is exactly how that works, and what it does not change.
Plain language version
Some of the links on this site are tracked. When a reader clicks one of those links and buys something at the destination store within a set window, the store pays Tiny Setup Lab a small percentage of the sale. The reader pays the same price either way. That commission is the main way this site funds itself.
FTC compliance
This disclosure exists in line with the United States Federal Trade Commission guidance for endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). Every page that contains an affiliate link also carries a short disclosure note near the top so the relationship is clear before any product reference.
Networks we may participate in
- Impact and Partnerize: creator-direct partnerships with software brands such as productivity, hosting, VPN, and travel tools.
- Awin and ShareASale: networks that connect us with individual SaaS and brand partners.
- Brand-direct programs: companies that run their own affiliate or referral programs without a network (Notion, Hostinger, Beehiiv, and similar).
- Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, Tiny Setup Lab earns from qualifying purchases. Used on the rare occasion a physical companion product is referenced.
We add or remove networks as the site grows. This page is updated when those changes happen.
How recommendations are chosen
- We do not write a recommendation because a brand pays more. Commission rate is not a ranking factor.
- We name specific drawbacks alongside the strengths of any product we cover.
- We do not invent personal testing claims. When a page describes hands-on measurements or use, that page says so directly.
- We try to point to a specific product page rather than a generic marketplace search whenever possible.
- We accept that some recommended products will be a poor fit for some desks. Where the fit is unusual or marginal, we say so on the page.
What this means for the reader
- Prices, shipping, stock levels, return windows, and warranty terms are decided by the destination store, not by us. Always check the destination listing before buying.
- Clicking a tracked link does not bind you to a purchase.
- If a product page on this site looks outdated, please contact us and we will update or remove it.
Tracking and cookies
